A bilingual advocacy service for Chinese Mental Health sufferers residing in East London and the City Mental Health Trust.

To individuals that were currently using mental health services but:

  • Found difficulties in accessing specialist services or
  • Feel intimidated when communicating with health professionals
  • Need assistance when making complaints or
  • Simply want some translated information on different treatment options or mental health regulations

CMHA offered experienced and professional advocacy in Cantonese and Mandarin. The service was free, confidential and completely independent and provided service users with support, confidence and choice.
