The Rat - Energetic and Ambitious
Years: 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996
Unlike its lesser liked and earthly version, a rat in the Chinese horoscope is an
extremely hard-working and ambitious animal. Another positive feature of this four
legged and often misunderstood creature is that it is intelligent, an opportunist and
very family orientated. The rat is always careful with its money to the point of ultra
cheapness! One key rat weakness is that it is rather emotional and loses its temper very easily.

in an instance; aside from this slight character flaw, they gain the respect of others very easily.
Their strong sense of independence means that they are often high achievers whom want to be the
best at everything; thus they are often noticed in the public arena, and as such tend to rise
to positions of great importance in a short period of time. Tigers make extremely generous
friends whom care about their loved ones and will go great lengths to help a friend in need.
