K.I.D.S. Design

This summer has seen a different initiative in the guide of 'Design Your Own T-shirt Workshops' that have been taking place all over London.

The aim of the workshops is to raise awareness about the Chinese community and other cultural and ethnic groups living in Britain. The workshops have been taking place in various youth and community centres around the London area such as Hackney Modern, Vietnamese Refugee Centre and Asia House.

Over 100 t-shirts have been collected. Each one is handcrafted by children and adults alike, emblazoned with their own idea of China and what it represents for them.
